A Little History

The land belongs to the city of Brockville and they kindly allow us to have a facility here where dogs can socialize, play and run off leash.  In 2008, a group of dog loving volunteers cane together to raise funds to build the park and secure it with fencing.  With the generous donations for our community partners, the park was born.

How The Park Is Run

An executive is elected from amongst the park membership each August.  The current executive consists of:
President- Wayne Meilke
Vice President- Joanne Meilke
Treasurer- Paul Bullock

The city picks up the garbage and supplies water from May to September.  Apart from that, all of the park maintenance and improvement is provided by park member volunteers.

Who Can Use The Park

Any adult who abides by the posted rules of the park is welcome to come out and enjoy it.  Children and dogs must be accompanied and closely supervised by an adult.  We welcome visitors to our fine city.  Use of the park is free of charge, but donations are always welcome.  Donations are directly applied to park maintenance and improvement.
